Wyomissing Borough has seats available on the Park & Shade Tree Commission and is looking for Wyomissing residents interested in the position.
Appointed members will serve, without compensation, a 5-year term
Members should be available to attend Commission meetings held at Borough Hall, bi-monthly on the 4th Wednesday of the odd months at 1:00pm, unless otherwise noted on the meeting schedule.
Members must be residents of the Borough who are interested in development and implementation of plans and programs to preserve and maintain our parklands, native vegetation, waterways, trees, and environmental sustainability.
Background knowledge in the above topics is beneficial but not necessary. A drive to promote the preservation of our parklands and community street trees, and the desire to learn is all that is needed.
