J.P. Mascaro has asked that Borough residents please set recycling containers out before 5:30 AM on December 16, 2020. The recycling company will begin collections earlier than normal in the Borough to alleviate collection during the impending winter weather. They will also run a second truck to assist with a more prompt collection. If you do not promptly set materials out for collection, the Borough cannot guarantee your items will be collected.
Advanced Disposal intends to follow normal collection schedules for the remainder of the week. They too will closely monitor the storm, and make a better judgement call upon the outcome of the storm. In preparation, they have asked that any resident who normally places refuse for collection in the alleyway, to please place items at the front curb if they are scheduled for collection on Thursday, December 17, 2020.
