Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for the Borough of Wyomissing are provided by the Western Berks Ambulance Association. The Association provides both basic life support and advanced life support emergency services to a 120+ square mile area in Western Berks County, Pennsylvania.

The main station is located at 2506 Belmont Ave in West Lawn, PA. This was the first “ambulance building” for the Association, after originally being housed in the West Lawn Fire Company. The building has seen several additions and has been remodeled several times. Administrative offices are currently located at 25 Stevens Avenue, West Lawn. The second station opened in 1995 at 411 Cherry St, West Reading, PA after being housed at the West Reading Fire Company for over a year. In early 2004 the ambulance moved back in with the West Reading Fire Department at the new fire station on Playground Drive. The third station is the Robesonia station at 551 W Penn Ave in Robesonia. This is the largest of the three stations and was completed in December of 1997. This station can house seven ambulances.

Western Berks Ambulance Association provides both BLS and ALS emergency services to a 120+ square mile area in Western Berks County, Pennsylvania. We operate 15 ambulances, 6 wheelchair vans, and a Supervisor’s vehicle out of three stations.
